# bg_perspective

> bg_perspective is an Italian board game channel (Instagram, Threads, Facebook) run by a group of friends who have been playing together for over ten years. The website publishes one permanent page for every game the group actually plays, in five languages (Italian, English, French, German, Spanish), with the group's own photos and the real length of its games, timed since 2020 and compared with what the box says.

## Main pages

- [Home, all the games on the table](https://bg-perspective.it/): every game page, newest first.
- [For publishers](https://bg-perspective.it/per-gli-editori): what bg_perspective does with a game a publisher sends (unboxing reel, stories, carousel on Instagram, Threads and Facebook, a page on the website in five languages, a photo on BoardGameGeek), usual timing (within two weeks, at the latest one month after arrival), editorial approach, publishers already worked with, contact.
- [Apps](https://bg-perspective.it/app): two iOS apps by Paolo, who writes the game pages. Faraway Score, a free scorepad for the board game Faraway (photo of the cards, the app does the scoring; not official, made with the permission of Catch Up Games). Spot The Spy, a hidden role deduction party game for 3 or more players on a single phone (EUR 0.99). Android versions are in closed testing.
- Game pages: `https://bg-perspective.it/gioco/<slug>`, with what the game is, how it plays at our table, a verified trivia item, the Italian edition, player count, weight, the box and the median length of our games.
- Lists by publisher (`/editore/<slug>`), designer (`/autore/<slug>`), category (`/categoria/<slug>`), mechanic (`/meccanica/<slug>`) and weight (`/peso/<slug>`).

## Languages

Every page exists in five versions: `/it/`, `/en/`, `/fr/`, `/de/`, `/es/` in front of the path (for example `https://bg-perspective.it/fr/per-gli-editori`). Without a prefix the site follows the browser language, English by default.
