# App Store listing (English, U.S.) Translation of `../scheda.md`, adapted for App Store Connect. Character counts below are measured with a script (`len()` on the exact string), counted right after each field. ## Name (max 30 characters) «Quanto Basta» stays the brand name in every language; two options, in case the name alone needs an English qualifier for uniqueness on the U.S. store: 1. **Quanto Basta** (12 characters). Probably not available: the name has to be unique across the whole store, and in Italian it was already taken (that is why the Italian name is «Quanto Basta: Dosaricette»). 2. **Quanto Basta: Recipe Scaler** (27 characters). Recommended. Brand plus an English qualifier baked into the name itself. If this one is used, drop "recipes" from the keywords field (Apple: don't repeat words already in the name). ## Subtitle (max 30 characters) **Right amounts for any crowd** (27 characters). With name option 2 the subtitle must not repeat «recipe» or «scaler». ## Promotional text (max 170 characters) **Type or paste any recipe. Set the servings, or tap what you actually have, and every amount updates in numbers you can read in the kitchen.** (139 characters.) ## Description (max 4000 characters) 1213 characters. Faithful to the Italian description, with the terms the app itself uses in English (`recipe book`, `servings`, from `src/i18n/en.ts`). You have a recipe for 4 and there are 7 people for dinner. Or you have 300 g of flour left and want to know how much of everything else to use with it. Quanto Basta does the math for you. Type or paste the recipe as it is, even copied from a website: the app recognizes quantities, units of measure and "to taste", in English and Italian, with the metric and US systems. Then choose the servings, or tap an ingredient and tell it how much you actually have. Every other amount updates on its own, in numbers you can read in the kitchen: half a tablespoon stays half a tablespoon, and 1160 g becomes 1.16 kg. You organize your recipe book however you like, in categories you create. Every recipe has its own photo, the view can be a list or a grid, and there's search. The screen stays on while you cook. A recipe can be sent to anyone with the app, as a file that opens with a tap, or copied as text with the amounts you just calculated. Your whole recipe book, or a single category, saves to a file whenever you want: that's your backup, and you bring it to another phone. No account, no ads, no data collected. Your recipes stay on your phone and go nowhere else. Light and dark theme, English and Italian. ## Keywords (max 100 characters, comma-separated, no spaces) **baking, servings, cookbook, ingredients, desserts, cakes, cooking, grams, proportions, dough, kitchen, convert** (99 characters), for name option 2. No word repeated from the name field (assuming Name option 1, plain "Quanto Basta"); no trademarks. If Name option 2 is used instead, replace `recipes` with another word (e.g. `baking`) since "recipe" would then already be in the name. ## What's New in This Version (1.0.2) - The menu is now at the bottom of the screen. - Search sits apart, on the right of the menu, with your recent searches. - The import screen can "Replace the recipe book" outright, instead of just adding to it. - Settings reordered, for clarity.
